Dr. William Andrew Swagler, DO

Great availability for scheduling. Very friendly and knowledgeable. Will take the time with you if you ask whether its about a condition or just to chat about a hobby. Yes, his office is used as a medical student training facility and the medical student will do the history/physical. However, most of the students have been taught to be extremely thorough so don't be surprised if Dr. Swagler doesn't do an exam personally. If something on the exam doesn't seem right, he will do it, but most of the time the student did a good enough job that he doesn't need to do an exam.

Dr. Swagler did not even perform a physical exam. Only sent in a medical student to take a history and then came in a few minutes later and had the prescriptions already written. The medical student did not even perform a physical exam either, so there was no excuse for him not to perform one. If a patient complains of a sore throat, obviously you would look at there throat and palpate any of their lymph nodes, or if they complain of chest pain you listen to their chest with your stethoscope, however, Dr. Swagler does not even know these simple rules to quality care.
