This Anesthesiologist was unconcerned about patient welfare on the table. He over anesthetized me for a procedure to the point of experiencing hallucinations for hours post op, and in either sloppiness or haste he caused a corneal abrasion on one of my eyes. Eyes are lubed and taped for procedures-generally. Instead of seeing that my eye was taken care of post op, he demonstrated the least amount of concern, only telling the recovery RN to drop my corneal surface with tetracaine (which is short acting). As the last patient of the day he could not wait for me to leave the surgical center and I left so heavily drugged that I was unable to walk on my own. That is not a standard of care for surgical centers in West Michigan. As a physician he could have cared less about me as a patient.
