I went to Dr. Thornton because of a recommendation by my oral surgeon (and because I was VERY unhappy with the dentist recommended by a friend). I have not been disappointed! The dentist recommend by my friend was not only NOT a "hands-on" dentist, but he basically gave me no hope for what's left of my teeth (via his receptionist, I might add, since he told me nothing,and pretty much had nothing to do with me), but wanted to pull my teeth and give me a "partial plate"! When I went to Dr. Thornton, he not only told me he could save my teeth, but performed a "dead-or-alive" test on my teeth, putting a cold substance on my teeth to see if they reacted to the temperature ... they did (my former dentist NEVER did this). I went in today for some "cosmetic" fillings, and Dr. Thornton did an AMAZING job (I almost want to smile again, and hug him for his diligence)! He took his time (much as an artist would), and I was a happy lady with the results. He IS going to be my dentist… hencefoth, albeit that I'm probably not the best patient! He made me SMILE!!! Highly recommended!
