Dr. William Patrick Tinker, MD

In spite of the fact amongst health care doctors Lisinopril causes a horrible chronic cough that totally affects one's entire life, I was prescribed this drug. Also, at the same time, he kept me on the Bystolic which causes my pulse rate to drop dangerously low. This, by the way was after 2 trips to the local ER with my BP extremely high at the same time. I had to drag myself out of bed and drive to St. Francis in Tulsa and was admitted with very high BP readings. I suffered horribly for 9 months, and finally found the cause was the Lisinopril he prescribed. Further, felt like I was just a "number". If Dr's can be this "busy" and/or arrogant, they should be replaced by someone who will actually follow up with them and act like they care, or else go back to school for more education about patient needs and tracing down serious health issues., By the way, I am discontinuing this hideous drug which has caused untold suffering for 9 months.

Dr. Tinker has always taken a lot of time to ask me questions. He has never rushed me and his diagnoses was acurate.

I have a chronic heart condition. Dr. Tinker has prescribed various medications, but does not adequately monitor their effectiveness. After switching my medication at the last visit, I had some problems but when I called to try and see Dr. Tinker I was told his schedule was full and I should just go to the emergency room. Often when I have appointments, I do not even get to see Dr. Tinker. His very young P.A. conducts the entire exam--and is unable to answer any questions I have.
