Dr. William Ryan Trahan, DDS

I was very lucky to find Dr Trahn in St Charles, Illinois. He and his nursing staff were awesome. Dr Trahan is extremely skilled, meticulously thorough, & super nice/caring periodontist. He took care of my issue in one sitting. (Extraction, Graft Placement, and Implant insertion) The work was done quickly & with no pain. The post procedures were straight forward & easy to follow. BTW, Dr Trahan called me the day after my surgery of his own accord (He did not have to do that) to check how I was doing. I highly recommend Dr Trahan..

Dr. Trahan does exceptional work and is able to do very difficult cases. I was turned down by several oral surgeons regarding an implant due to not enough bone , but after a thorough evaluation I was able to get an implant and it’s doing great! Couldn’t be happier with the service I received :)

Dr. Trahan and his staff are the most skilled dental professionals I have ever experienced. He really cares about his patients and treats you with kindness and compassion. He spent a lot of time with me and answered all my questions. I would recommend Dr. Trahan to my friends and family in a heartbeat.

I am so happy with Dr. Trahan! I have always had anxiety with anything to do with the dentist; but since being referred to Dr. Trahan my outlook on getting my teeth done has totally changed! Dr. Trahan has a very good chair side manner as well as being a very competent surgeon. I will refer any friend or family member to him.

I went in for a bone graft to have an implant put in by Dr Trahan. After the surgery I was experiencing bleeding which he said was normal. He walked me through it and answered my questions when I text but should have given better instructions when I was sent home. Finally after several sleepless nights he said to apply pressure on it. That finally worked, but I still felt something wasn’t right. I went in the office to see him and he said that everything was fine, but I knew it wasn’t. Days later I went back and he finally agreed and had to remove the entire cavity after it had already got infected at that point. We feel that he did something wrong but didn’t want to admit it because my tooth next to the one he extracted became loose and the assistant helping him was pretty cold towards me,almost insinuating that I did something wrong. Before the surgery he told me the other teeth were fine, now all of a sudden, the other tooth next to the one he pulled is loose. He said to go home… and recover and come back in a few months to talk about re-doing it. When I went back, he said that I recovered quicker than expected, but on the next breath wouldn’t re-do the graft after we paid for this. I left there still not understanding and realized that he wasn’t capable and I shouldn’t have gone to him in the first place since he wasn’t an oral surgeon. He pretty much dropped the ball. I suppose some things he can do and some things he can’t, so your taking a risk. My husband also over heard the ladies in the office gossiping and talking about the patients which is very unprofessional. This was definitely a blessing in disguise. These people are only interested in helping those who have the big bucks to dish out anyways. We overheard one gentleman writing a check out for $12,000.00. What goes around comes around!

I recently had some pain issues with the large tori (bone) in my mouth and was looking for answers. Dr. Trahan squeezed me in (I was a new patient) and immediately went to work in making my life a whole lot better. He diagnosed the problem and removed the broken tori in my mouth. He followed up first thing the next morning to make sure everything was going well. I can't recommend him highly enough. Thank you!

Dr. Trahan is nothing less than amazing! He was my doctor in Virginia and now that he has moved to Chicago, I recently flew up and had him place three implants. I trusted him completely to take off an existing bridge and replace it with implants. I was very nervous about the procedure as this was my first time. Needless to say, the procedure went flawlessly and following the post-op instructions, I have been feeling great. He not only does exceptional work (everything from quality to efficiency) but he has a calming chair side manner that always puts me at ease. Highly recommend Dr. Trahan for anyone in need of quality work, especially implants!!

Dr. Trahan was and is by far the best Periodontist that I have seen. I am so glad to changed Dr.'s to him. I had a gum graft about 4 years ago with a different Periodontist on the top, right side of my mouth. Though the outcome of the surgery was good, no issues, I did not get the treatment I received from Dr. Trahan after my gum graft with him. Dr. Trahan checked in with me hours after my surgery, the following day and when I had a blood clot scare a few days after my surgery (totally normal), he got me right in the next morning at 8am to check it out to make sure it wasnt part of my graft coming out. He didnt just assume it was a blood clot. He checked in with me following that appointment to make sure I was doing well. I had a few more check ups after that and needless to say, those went very well. My graft healed very nice and fast! Dr. Trahan grafted I believe 9 teeth total, top and bottom on my left side. One would think there might have been even the slightest complication with… such a big surgery, with so many teeth being grafted-NOT AT ALL! His work is perfect!! In closing, Dr. Trahan is very attentive, very professional, very helpful and most of all, HE CARES ABOUT HIS PATIENTS!! I will recommend him to anyone looking for a Periodontist! I will see Dr. Trahan in the future for all my periodontal needs!

I can say as a client /patient my wife and I had a very satisfying experience. This office has a comfortable and positive office culture. Staff are nice pleasant people.Most important to me was the care and services provided by Dr Trahan. Excellent and professional and caring in every way.

During the past year I was under the care of Dr. Trahan for two bone grafts, four implants and an extraction. His compassionate care, concern and gentle demeanor during every visit was second to none. He always had my best interest in mind and kept me informed every step of the way.
