Dr. William Dean Vaughan

Dr Vaughan is great he gets 5 stars. His assistant is sweet and so is the receptionist Savanah? But that ignorant Jesica has to go. She is unprofesional and rude. If anyone based going to this place based on her the Dr would have no patients. What a little b*****. Fire her and save your money doc!

I don't normally write reviews and rarely do I even look at them, however I was so unhappy with Dr Vaughan and how I was treated in his office, I felt the need to write this to save someone else from what I went through. This dentist is rude and has horrible bedside manners. I came in with a difficult situation as a student from out of town. My tooth cracked and I waited to have anyone look at it until I had the money to do so. When I was finally able to get in and take care of it, Dr Vaughan made me feel very bad and even embarrassed by his comments to myself and his staff. He is young, very immature, incredibly rude and did not show even the slightest bit of compassion me and my situation. Seeing Dr Vaughan made me not ever want to visit another dentist again, which is a shame because there are good dentists out there. Save your time and money and go see a real dentist that knows how to interact with patients.

Once Dr. Vaughan left his Tallahassee practice, new dentist discovered major issues that required immediate attention. Dr. Vaughan checked my X rays but missed tooth infection that has spread on adjacent teeth in between two visits. Unfortunately, I was not in pain since I did not have nerve on that tooth and by the time I started feeling something was wrong it was too late. The only remedy was to take 3 teeth out ( oral surgery ~ $1,200)and now I have to have implants & bridge. To make things even worse, I have a decay under $700 crown that Dr. Vaughan put just 15 months ago. I brush my teeth 5 times a day, floss on daily basis and maintain good oral hygiene , so I doubt that this is something that I caused. Yes, I now have to have that crown removed and have new one placed after taking care of decay. Next week I am going to request quotes for my implants/ bridge.. I am so tempted to send Dr. Vaughan bill ..Maybe I will..

I am one of Dr. Vaughn's patients and I have yet to have a bad visit. He has always listened to what ever problem I felt I was having and came up with a solution the way a Great dentist should. From my first visit with him I was comfortable in his care. So all I can say in regards to Dr. Vaughn He is "Super Dentist." I can't wait for my next pain free visit! When you find a great dentist as good as he is I would advise anyone to hold on to them until it is time for them to move on to bigger and better things.

Dr. Vaughan has horrible Chair-side manners. He was unwilling to listen to my situation and have a conversation with me regarding my needs as a patient. He was very dismissive and made accusations that were simply not true. I would not recommend nor will I go back.
