Dr. William Volk, MD, FAAOS

Dr. William Volk is an orthopedic surgeon who specializes in sports medicine. He earned his medical degree from The George Washington University in Washington, DC, where he also completed his residency training. Dr. Volk furthered his expertise through a fellowship at The UHZ Sports Medicine Institute in Coral Gables, Florida. He is board-certified and holds the distinction of Fellowship in the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (FAAOS). Dr. Volk speaks English.

Dr. Volk practices at multiple locations throughout Maryland with The Centers for Advanced Orthopaedics, including offices in Olney, Columbia, Rockville, and Silver Spring. He treats patients experiencing joint pain, knee discomfort, and postoperative recovery challenges. His surgical expertise includes cartilage reconstruction procedures and complex hip arthroscopy. Dr. Volk also performs specialized surgeries on the hip, shoulder, and knee to help patients return to their active lifestyles.
