Dr. William Waterfield, MD

Dishonest, embezzling and unreliable are the 3 words that come to mind. I previously subscribed to an HMO through my employer which severely limited my choice of providers. Repeatedly, I have found Dr Waterfield to be among the worst in class of providers. Just in the last 30 days: Gone on vacation without providing contact information for someone to see his patients when he returned. When he came back, he lied to me about dosages (outright lie determined by the manufacturer's dosing guidelines) He incorrectly billed my new insurance and refused to refund the difference. To clarify - he called my insurance and misunderstood my coverage (HIS MISTAKE), and billed me triple the actual visit cost per my insurance. When presented with a statement of my benefits, he became offended (while making no apology for his error) and then told me I was yelling and that he did not want to deal with me anymore, that I should now write letters. I had the facts and documents and you were… just wrong. Don't get offended, learn about customer service. I recommend anyone with another option to seek out more skilled care anywhere else. He is a crook.

Dr.Waterfield is an abomination. I cannot express how much this man should never be allowed to practice again. Because of him and his careless practice, I ended up in the hospital. He is perverted, perpetually late, an egomaniac, and has an inability to listen to his patients. He is unprofessional on almost every level and will chase you down, write letters, and will threatening you. He needs to be lock up behind bars.

I have visited Dr. Waterfield many times over the past three years. He is very difficult to work with and never improved. He will not remember anything you've previously said or discussed, nor the medication he has prescribed to you. He constantly interrupts you so that he can write everything down. He will dismiss a lot of your concerns and waste a significant amount of your time. He won't reach you by email and will almost always miss a phone call. The last straw was when he lied to me that he would fill my prescription, one that I really needed. I only put up with him because of the prescribed medication that helped me. I am currently finding a replacement. Do not see Dr. Waterfield.
