Dr. William Keisler Whiteside, MD

I have had many ortho surgeries. Some not so good doctors. Some excellent. Dr Whiteside is one of the top 3. It would be too difficult to decide and one of my surgeons was the Chair of Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Pennsylvania, who had been at the Mayo Clinc. Dr. Whitside in his specialty if right up there. He is also caring , thoughtful and attentive. He saw an unrelated lump on my leg and went right into action fearing cancer. He contacted a physician for me, I was seen quickly and Dr. Whiteside was right. Cancer. All gone now, thanks to his attention to not just my ankle. I had great trouble walking before Dr. Whiteside. Great pain. I am now pain free. Run, ok walk, to this doctor.

He was compassionate while providing comprehensive evaluation, repair and rehabilitation for her complex orthopedic fracture. Her ankle is now pain free, she has full motion in her ankle and can walk as well as before her fall. I would recommend him to anyone who needs ankle repair! We were referred to him after our ER care at Tidelands Waccamaw Medical Center.
