Dr. William James Wickwire, MD

I have been going to Dr. Wickwire for years. He is thoughtful, thorough and a kind man. You cannot go wrong going to this doctor. He has removed some skin cancers, age spots, moles. For a while my insurance did not work at his office. I changed my insurance so that I could go back to this office. Highly recommend him.

Love this office! I have been coming here for about 15 years. Everyone is always friendly and helpful.

I love Dr. Wickwire. He puts you at ease and makes you laugh; it's easy to talk to him about anything and everything. I've been going to him for a few years and I always come back because he's so fun to be around, he is very knowledgeable and experienced, he can explain in layman's terms what your problem is, his billing staff is also very professional and friendly, and the general atmosphere in the office is that of a happy-family. Everyone is professional but very caring, especially Dr. Wickwire. In my book, he gets an A+ rating.

Dr Wickwire is an outstanding doctor who spends time with his patients and helps them feel at ease. He and his staff follow up by telephone as needed. Both Dr. Wickwire and his staff go out to their way being courteous and professional. I have been his patient for many years. I have referred people to him and they have been very pleased with the service they received. His billing staff are accurate and follow through in a timely manner. Dr, Wickwire has also treated several members of my family and we have all been happy with his care. His staff have followed through with my local pharmacy as well as MEDCO by mail. I would give Dr. Wickwire an A+rating.

I saw Dr. Wickwire today for removal of a warty growth on my thigh. His office staff was warm and congenial. Dr. Wickwire was very professional and skilled. He not only excised the lesion for which I came, but also removed two other unsightly ones on my face, all in the space of a few minutes. I would be happy to return to him for any future dermatological problem

My daughter received a prescription for Accutaine which required a pregnancy test monthly. Dr Wickwire's office needed to enter the prescription into a computer in order for the pharmacy to release it. His office NEVER in 6 tries entered the order timely. This always necessitated multiple visits to the pharmacy and numerous calls to his office. He NEVER made it easy often requiring follow up visits in various undesirable locations. Find an easier office and doctor to work with!

I had a great experience. What a fun doctor, wearing a bow tie and socks, taking more time to explain everything than any doctor I ever went to. His fees are fair and based on contract rates from the insurance companies...I have had a few different ones. I used to go for the cosmetic stuff elsewhere, figuring a board certified dermatologist would be more expensive. Well, he is, but safe, well explained, and I didn't bruise which other doctors did

I have Muir-Torre syndrome in my family and made my first visit there, just off the cuff asked what he knew about it and was very impressed he'd even heard of it. He took time to explain how that might tie in with my skin problem...and well just bottom line, is first rate and still has a fun time in the office. Great team of doctors and nurses there...Didn't have to wait too long.

It looks like the doctor schedules more than one patient for a single appointment, therefore long waits.
