Dr. Bill Woods was born and raised in his hometown of Meridian, Mississippi and graduated from Ole Miss in 1974. He served in the United States Navy as an ASW Officer, CIC Officer and Navigator aboard the USS DAVIS (DD-937). He graduated from the University of Mississippi School of Dentistry in 1982 where he served as clinical instructor in the acute illness and hygiene departments. Dr. Woods has been practicing general dentistry in Meridian for 25 years with an emphasis on cosmetic and implant dentistry. He received his postdoctoral training in implant dentistry from the AAID at the Medical College of Georgia (MCG) in 2003. Dr. Woods is a Member of the American Dental Association (ADA), Mississippi Dental Association (MDA), American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID), International Congress of Oral implantologists (ICOI), Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) and SIMPLANT Academy. He is a founding member of the …International Stomatognatic Honorary Alliance (ISHA) and an Associate Member of the American Academy of Periodontology (AAP). He continues to promote optimum health through continuing education, ensuring his patients receive the most comprehensive and advanced dental care. He is happily married to Ronda Rawson Woods and is the proud father of six children - William, Graham, Clair, Nicholas, Henley and Ashby.
