Dr. William Edward Wortman, MD

readily available, excellent training current training very obvious, only negative is that he, understandably succumbs to political pressure applied by Iowa Clinic as so many well trained physicians have and we the Patients suffer the loss.

Dr. Wortman is a doctor with a big ego. He violated my elderly mother by discussing my mom’s health issue with my uncle in the waiting room, in front of other patients. Further, the way he spoke to my uncle was accusatory and without tact. He’s supposed to be a doctor, not an enforcer/disciplinarian.

Dr Wortman is a very knowledgeable doctor and explains things well which helps make you feel comfortable with what he's telling you. He has a great bedside manner and makes you feel like he truly cares about you.

Dr Wortman is very kind and professional. He is willing to spend the time with you and answer all your questions in a manner that is easy to understand.
