Dr. William Derois Yates, MD

I received a FUE procedure from Dr. Yates using the artis system in 2012. It was horrible, the strap he used to keep my head in place left a permanent indentation in my skull. I think he damaged most of the hair follicles in the process because even after two years later there were no new growth in the area that was transferred. He also took so many from my donor site that i now have thin areas there as well.

All these places are full of it, trying to sell you fake band-aid solutions to androgenetic alopecia. This place is the worst, and you feel it immediately when you walk in the office. Do your own research and stay away from this place, and Every other company trying to sell you overpriced band-aid solutions. Big joke.

I had a relatively small hair? restore implant precedure done, (800 ) follicules 1.5 yrs ago and the results were 50/50. Yates personally examined the small bald spot on my crown and rest assured that new implants would grow in its? place with an average full maturity? within a yr. In a nutshell, 18 months have passed and the few implants that were done in front (300) were successful. Most of the other 500 to the crown are still in the implant stage mode meaning it hasn't grown at all. So in essence?, at $6 an implant, that's roughly $3000 down the tubes with the same bald spot on top present. I will be posting photos soon. At consultation before the procedure?, I was told if results were unsatisfactory?, I would be "taken care of" which at the time I thought was pretty vague/ unclearly expressed sort of promise to remedy the situation should a problem arise or expectations? not met. That has yet to happen. ?

I went for a FUE consultation last year for receding hairline. Dr. Yates told me that I could only lower my hairline minimally. This was not true It was obvious he wanted to do the easy work. He just wanted to fill in the peaks. His charge was $12,500 I believe. This also included minimal (200)grafts to crown. He also never discussed density, which according to his videos is not very dense. He calls it his sweet spot. He also dissuades people from correcting the crown area in his videos as he does not appear to be proficient at extracting the most hair possible for both hairline and crown. Again, this is just due to inexperience. I went out of the country and I got a lower hairline and almost double the number of grafts, including hotel and meals for under $5,000. By the way he is also being sued by former employer as they apparently trained him and then he jumped ship. Stay away from this guy.

+2000 grafts. Was looking to increase the density around my receding hairline as I still have plenty of hair. $20,000 later I'm still buzzing my head. Stay away from this "doctor"

I am super happy to have chosen to go see Dr. William Yates! He is without a doubt the best hair surgeon and the most kind too.

I visited 2 other doctors before consulting with Dr. Yates, he didn't try to sell me a fake hairline or an unnecessary procedure. I had my transplant over a year ago and the results are perfect!

Dr. Yates is very knowledgeable about hair restoration and treats his patients with great respect. His whole staff is kind and accommodating. I'm really glad I chose him to do my procedure.

I was looking for a Hair Restoration Doctor desperately. I was racing against genetics and rapidly loosing my confidence due to hair loss. The consultation was quick and smooth. Dr Yates and his patient coordinator did the best out of my case

He is only in it for the money. He ruined my life with his procedure. I was told later by several doctors that he should not have hair restoration. The hair procedure did not work and I lost 2000 hairs that will never come back. A painful procedure and he did not really do much of the work. He had the machine pull out the hairs and the staff members doing the implants. He came in and out to see how they were doing. I also lost more than a year hoping it would grow in. He should lose his license.
