Dr. William Brent Young, MD

2nd Review I had a one week stay at Bayonet Point Hospital. Out of boredom I began to ask staff, including multiple nurses if they were familiar with W.B. Young. "YES" 10 out of 10 were familiar with him and his reputation. Rest assured word spreads quickly in a hospital environment. Some spoke of an incident in which he berated in an RN in the hallway infront of several other staff, patients and visitors. She cried. Thanks Brent you are a REAL masculine man. About as professional as a single sock. What I do find very odd is when breaking down these reviews I find a 50/50 split between Excellent and worthless. Very very odd. (At least everybody gets one star for attendance)

Excellent Doctor. Extremely knowledgeable and explains thoroughly. However, bring a book and expect to wait. You will get your turn and he will not rush you to move to the next patient.

Dr Young is a superb Dr. He’s honest straightforward and to the point. He doesn’t sugar coat it. He is thorough and accurate with his exam and diagnosis. If you can’t take the truth and a honest diagnosis go somewhere else. I have been his patient for years now. Wouldn’t want to go anywhere else

My first visit to Dr. Young should have been enough of a warning. The first thing that he talked about was politics. Offering his right wing perception of things. Then he proceeds to insult me in his passive aggressive way. Saying how stupid, ignorant and dumb for smoking. Now we get to the cardio gram machine. It took three nurses aids to get it to work, for nothing because my cardiologist couldn’t use the cardio gram, it wasn’t taken right. I had to take another at her office. Now comes the second visit for my results of the test the cardiologist did on me. He can’t find the echo cardio gram results. Almost forgot, the day before my second appointment the office calls to cancel my appointment. It took me a week of trying to call office before someone picked up and I was able to make appt. Now again he starts with the your stupid, dumb and ignorant for smoking stuff I got upset and responded to him. Told him he has to learn to talk to patients. Nobody goes to the doctor to feel… worse when they leave. Do yourself a favor and find a doctor who cares about u and not getting his political views and how smart and rich he is. He needs a little humble pie. Horrible person.

WHAT DR refuses to wear a mask??? I stopped going when he refused to wear a mask in the BEGINNING of the pandemic and because I wouldn’t go in he refused to tell me on the phone my blood test results which I found out months later my cholesterol was high. WOW!!!!!!!!! Thanks!!!

I have a noon apt. I called in the morning to verify and they asked if I could come in at 11:45 and I said yes. I got there a little early. Around 12:10 or so they they will be right with me...just a few minn. I went up to the desk at 12:45 and they said the same thing. I just left. I still don't know why they asked me to come in early if they could not get to me.

This doctor apparently only deals with male patients and only deals with elderly patients. This was not told to me before I was given an appointment and paid a co-pay. I am beyond livid about my experience with this doctor. Not only are the receptionists rude and unhelpful, the doctor did not help me in any way with my health. This guy needs to change his patient care.

My husband and I have been a patient of Dr. Young's since 2000. We have always received excellent care and have recommend him to several friends.

I have been going to Dr. Young for approximately 20 years and highly recommend him. He shoots straight from the hip and does not sugar coat anything. My wife has worked in the medical field for 30 years and works directly with Doctors and when I tell her what Dr. Young recommends...she states "He is a good Doctor" Dr. Young has never misdiagnosed me and has always made time to explain my options. Dr. Young gives me advice and it is up to each and every patient to take responsibility for their own health. If your eating habits, exercise routine and daily living are not what they should be....you can not blame your doctor Steve Archibald

Dr. Young has been our family Doctor for over 20 years. He has always provided us with excellent health care. Staff is polite and very accommodating to our needs what ever they maybe. I would and have recommended him to others for their Medical needs.
