Dr. William Alexander Yvorchuk, MD

Im writing this review after almost 3 years. I feel people generally write a review off an impulse or a knee-jerk reaction to something good or bad, and I wanted I wanted to make sure I did not write this with anything anecdotal. Dr Yvorchuk started seeing me almost 3 years ago, I was extremely nervous to see this type of doctor. I honestly didn't even think that I needed him for his type of services. I'm head strong and generally like to feel independent. However since day one I have received nothing but the highest professional care from Dr Yvorchuk. He really helped me identify some serious problems that I didn't want to face. He continues to make me comfortable while addressing tough concerns for me. Every one of his professional diagnosis has been spot on. I can truly and honestly say without him, my life would be dramatically effected negatively. I have a great life now, a life at one point in time I thought would never be obtainable. I owe my career my personal relationship… and my continued successes in life to Dr Yvorchuk and the UF health team. Thanks for saving me from myself.

I have been seeing Dr Yvorchuk for well over a year now for my issues. I could not be happier with my care. He is patient and kind and has always been there anytime I have contacted him out of the blue with problems. His staff is also wonderful. He cares for me as a person, not just a patient. He is very knowledgeable in his field and I would highly recommend him to everyone seeking this type of care.

Dr. Yvorchuk is amazing. Every doctor I have ever been seen by has always treated me like just another patient. Dr. Yvorchuk really cares, and treats me like a person. He really digs in and try’s his best to give you a sense of relief. Every visit has left me impatient for the next! I mean, who actually looks forward to a doctor visit?!?! He gives me examples of situations and events in his own life to relate to me, to help me. I can honestly say with full certainty that Dr. Yvorchuk turned my life around. Dr. Yvorchuk is an superb professional. We conducted our first video conference appointment today, and it went very smoothly. It works out for me, as my work schedule is very hectic.

I have had an anxiety disorder for about 50 years with severe hyperhidrosis (severe sweating). Every doctor I went to blew me off. Finally my internist sent me to a psychiatrist and thank God I landed in Dr. Yvorchuk's office. He was the first person who ever really was able to explain what was going on and truely understand my issue. His treatment with Prazosin has given me my life back. I only wish I had met him many years ago. Finally I feel more at peace and no longer embarrassed and ashamed.
