Dr. Willie Thomas Anderson III, MD

Horrendous. Do NOT take your child to him. He is not fit to be a child’s neurologist. He treats you terribly and insults your intelligence as a parent when advocating for your child.

Extremely rude during visit. Absolutely no bed side manner when dealing with children. Made my daughter cry. Felt uncomfortable and infuriated!!

Dr. Anderson was extremely rude and unprofessional, he kept telling me everything i’m doing is wrong, he had nothing but bad things to say about my sons other doctors and he is extremely unhappy to be in East Tennessee at Ballad Health. My son has many conditions, many things wrong with him, you would think someone in this field would be a little more kind and compassionate, a little more professional but he was not. He said “there are many downfalls to being here” talking about being at this doctors office, that alone raised many red flags to me. I have never had a doctor like this, i have had some that are straight forward and don’t sugar things, which i honestly prefer but this was not the case with him. Find another doctor don’t take your child to see him.

Terribly rude to my child.

Took my son to Dr. Anderson a few weeks ago. From the moment we entered, they seemed to have him confused with someone else. He rudely to my son to put up his iPod or else he would take it. My child is extremely mannerable so he would have put it away without the unwarranted threats. Kept telling my son he was" different " to the point of made me uncomfortable. My son told him he never has been in trouble at school....he acted like my son was lying. To top it off, he told my son," You are in left field. In fact, you have jumped the fence and completely left the game!!!!" Who says that to a kid????? Will never return here. Cant believe this guy has anything above a 1 star rating. Unprofessional from start to finish!!!!!

His staff is very friendly, office inviting and he has a great bedside manner with children. He listens and answers all concerns.

After taking our daughter to numerous doctors, Dr. Anderson was the only doctor who was able to diagnose and treat her. We were truly blessed to know that her condition was easily treated and controlled.

Dr. Anderson gave me more information during the first office visit than I had received in the previous 5 years of treating my daughter for seizures! Highly recommend him for care of your child with epilepsy!

Dr. Anderson and his staff was truly a Godsend for me and my family. My son was diagnosed with a rare brain disorder at 8 weeks of age. Dr. Anderson has stayed after hours to monitor and treat my son and has fit him in several times for emergency appointments. When my son has emergencies on the weekend Dr. Anderson promptly returns our pages and phone calls. I can't say enough about what he and his staff has done for my family and especially my son. He and his staff really care about thier patients. They are all great people. Thank you so much Dr. Anderson, Jenny, Robin, and staff.

My daughter is one year old and had asymmetry on her mouth. One side droops when she cries and has gotten more prominent, the older she has gotten. She recently had a seizure. We seen Dr. Anderson today and he was wonderful. He explained things to me and let me know exactly how he got to his conclusions. Of course we don't know exactly what is causing it. But he seems like he cares and he actually takes the time to help. I've only been with him today but I'm very pleased so far.
