Dr. Willis Yu-Lin Wu, MD

Dr. Wu is a money machine. I am sure he drives a nice car and has a beautiful home. His bedside manner however is not so good. He insulted me when I was explaining that I had pain (after my 3rd procedure) and he made a comment about my manhood. I don't typically let people talk to me like that but in that setting I felt it best to let it be. So I am here writing a review. In addition and probably more important he/his team made a mistake in dosing the amount of anesthesia for my procedure and then blamed it on another physician. There are too many good doctors out there to chose Dr. Wu. I certainly won't ever use him again.

Horrible! Only cares about money & forces expensive injections that not only don't work, but can cause a VERY serious, painful & permanent condition called adhesive arachnoiditis. The really terrible part of it all, is HE KNOWS THIS! You'd have a better chance getting legitimate compassionate care from Josef Mengele! This so called doctor's care took me from a gainfully employed & able-bodied person to disabled & forced to survive on disability income for the rest of my life, not to mention his injections permanently trippled my pain! My life has been destroyed! Avoid him at all costs!

I was very apprehensive about my first visit with doctor Wu. I had read some horrible reviews about his bedside manner and ability. I have never written a review before in 68 years but felt the need. Dr. Wu was delightful, friendly, detailed and professional. He answered all my questions, gladly, until he had answered them all. He never made me feel rushed and he was very patient. I would highly recommend him to anyone including my children. I will write a review after he does my back surgery although I feel I am in very capable hands. Thank you Doctor Wu. Make that appointment with him. You won't be sorry. He can deal with some very difficult people in the pain medication realm and I think some of the negative reviews reflect these difficult individuals.

Below average knowledge of medications, unaware of previous diagnostic studies he had ordered that were in my records. Poor availability for appointments as he is only at one office location one day per week.

Avoid this doctor at ALL costs! The injections he pushes on his patients are very expensive, rarely help, and can cause and extremely painful condition called adhesive arachnoiditis, that I now have as a result of his injections. My previous doctor of 12 years kept me on my feet, enabling me to remain gainfully employed working full time, and have a life . When he stopped practicing, I had to find a new doctor. I will for the rest of my life regret choosing Dr. Wu! Not only did he immediately cut my pain meds by 90% without weaning me down, but the epidural injections he insisted on increased my pain by 4 fold, & resulted in me being permanently disabled and suffering from chronic intractable pain. I am now bedridden 24/7 and am trying to survive on disability income. Not only did he treat me like an addict as he apparently does with everyone, but Dr. Wu robbed me of my life. Do not pay this man to do the same to you!
