Dr. Winfield Campbell specializes in sports-related injuries, knee and shoulder arthroscopy, general orthopedics, and fracture care. He received his undergraduate degree from Middlebury College, and his medical degree at The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston, where he graduated as valedictorian. He completed his residency at The University of Texas Health Science Center in the Texas Medical Center, and received his fellowship training in sports medicine at The Foundation for Orthopedic, Athletic, and Reconstructive Research.
Dr. Campbell is currently the co-team physician for Rice University football, baseball, basketball, soccer, volleyball, track, cross-country, tennis, swimming, and golf. He was also the March 2011 NCAA Division I Men's …Basketball Final Four tournament medical director.
