Dr. Winfried Waider, MD

I really like Dr. Waider. He was recommended by a friend that has him as his cardio doctor. He has been doing his profession so long I think he has seen it all, which is comforting. His office is next to Long Beach Memorial Hospital, so he sees his patients regularly. He just walks across the parking lot. You won't be unhappy with Dr. Waider.

Dr. Waider is the best Cardiologist a heart patient could ask for. He is not only a great doctor, he also takes the time to really listen to you and truly cares about you as a person. I would not have any other Cardiologist treat me, unless I was traveling somewhere and even then (if I was conscious) I would request they contact Dr. Waider before any treatment and/or surgery. I also wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone I know in need of a Cardiologist. On a scale of 1 - 10 overall for a Cardiologist, I would easily rate him a 12, because he far exceeds any criteria used to rate doctors and specialists in the medical field.

My mom's Dr. He's a great Doctor and his staff are really nice and friendly.

Dr. Waider has performed agioplasty with 3 stent implants on me. There are also many other patients who received stents with no complications and great prognosis. He was rated in the Best Doctors in America book. He is very busy and at times he has to go to hospital on an emergency basis. However, I believe that the occasional long waiting is well justified. Very caring, personable and skillful physician, indeed. He is also an excellent internist and diagnostician (board certified in both internal medicine and cardiovascular diseases).
