Dr. Winner Lee, DO

Dr. Lee is young, vibrant, very active, very attentive and very intelligent. He listens to your own thoughts and recognizes that often we know best about our own situation and health issues. But, he is quick to study and check out your problems and offer clear and practical solutions. He is the very best Primary Care Physician I have encountered in Las Vegas in my 17 years of being a resident here.

Dr. Winner Lee, DO, is an Osteopath, not an MD. He botched and misdiagnosed his flawed EKG machine results that his incompetent PA "Gerry-rigged" the electrodes to my leg with tape instead of using new electrodes for my pre-op evaluation. Those false results claimed I had a heart attack sometime in the past. I disputed this. Dr. Winner then said because of my healthy appearance, which is excellent, he gave me the option to have a Nuclear Stress Test. I'm a military veteran with PTSD and Depression who has been obsessed with my fitness, exercise and eating only natural or organic foods for nearly 40 years as part of my mental health self-prescription. Naturally, I was going to error on the side of caution. He then subjected me to unnecessary and a risky Nuclear Heart Stress Test and a Heart Echo Cardiogram causing me to miss my back surgical dates. This resulted in months more of pain and suffering since I refuse to take pain medication. As a member of EFF, I even relinquished by… serious privacy concerns and took a 23andMe Health DNA test that revealed that I have no variant for heart disease or for any disease from A to Z. The heart tests were negative. A new EKG by a real MD Internist was perfect. Four months after my visit to Dr. Lee, I complained to his office of his incompetence, negligence, and indifference for failing to send my surgeon a report. He had the audacity to call me back and blame Pueblo Imaging for sending my chest X-rays to another doctor at the same Dignity Health practice where he works as the excuse for never sending my pre-op report to my surgeon. In my opinion, doctor Lee should have his license suspended or revoked. And since it is well documented in hundreds of scientific studies that African Americans don’t receive the same level of health care and concern as white patients in this country, due to implicit racial bias, I am constrained to conclude that may have been a factor in my mistreatment as well.
