Dr. Winston Edward Barzell, MD

A pain in the rectum (literally) but an excellent, professionally competent doctor. I notice that he treats his staff with courtesy and respect also. That's always a sign of good breeding and sometimes rare among physicians.

Dr Barzell is a very good, effective physician. He takes the time needed with me, explains things thoroughly and I trust him very much.

My husband is a cancer patient. I work extensively in health care throughout the state of Florida. When my husband was diagnosed I circulated a call for recommendations far and wide throughout my professional network. Barzell was constantly the number one name that came back. We have been patients now for over 3 years through the onslaught of prostate cancer. He is the absolute best and so is the staff. They deserve high marks too for the way they include the spouse/caregiver, the research information, the right to choose our own treatment options. None better.

He's a dinasaur who BELIEVES THAT HE KNOWS ALL while he really knows little. This doc should have retired long ago.
