My family’s experience with this office was deeply concerning, primarily due to poor communication and lack of follow-up. In October 2025, my father had an ultrasound ordered to evaluate new symptoms. The imaging was completed, but the results were never communicated to him. Over the next several months, he contacted the office repeatedly and was told they had not received the report. Phone calls were rarely answered, and messages left with staff and the answering service were not returned. Eventually, my father had to go directly to the imaging center himself to obtain the results. The report recommended additional imaging for a concerning finding, yet despite multiple urgent attempts to contact the office afterward, we received no response or guidance. Because of the lack of follow-up, our family had to seek care elsewhere to ensure appropriate next steps were taken. Subsequent imaging showed significant progression of the original finding, and my father is now facing… surgery. Mistakes can happen in healthcare, but timely communication and responsiveness are essential, especially when test results recommend further evaluation. Unfortunately, this was not our experience. I would strongly encourage patients to advocate for themselves and ensure follow-up is clearly established if choosing this practice.

Dr. Douglas may be a fine doctor, but no doctor is worth 3 hours wait. My mother was a patient of this man for years and never once made it into an exam room without spending an inordinate amount of time waiting to be seen. At best this man is oblivious to how inconsiderate this is. At worst he just really doesn't care. I have several suggestions but speaking with him it's clear he is fine with the way his office runs.

As far as i know if a dr changes yr med he should talk to u about it he doesn't he changes meds u find out when u pick script up he has a horrible bed side manner the wait time can be up to 3 hrs the staff is rude. He changed my med without any justification i hate comming here every time i see him he screws up something

staff is bad wont answer the phone got wait 1 hour for a paper after seeing the doctor he need to fire the front desk people i'll never there again and if you smart you will stay away

So disappointed with this doctor´s office. My mother is 78yrs old and every appointment at this office is a long drawn out episode. There has never been a time when she has been in and out. She is made to sit in the waiting room for hours and hours before she is seen. This doctor has no respect for peoples time. My mother, who is a diabetic must continuously eat breakfast before and eat lunch during her doctors appointments because they are so slow at this office. I´m currently looking for a doctors office for my mother that's going to be more respectful of her time.

Total Quack - don't waste your time

it is $350 for first visit. i called ahead to make sure i would get my prescription that day, not because I am a drug peddling scammer who wants a fix or quick sell. but because i have years clean on a shared prescription (of methadone) with my mother (who's a nurse), and going on a vacation i need my own so i can bring it on the plane. the doctor refused to give me a prescription that day because i'm on methadone. he could have written it for pharmacy pick-up in a couple days if the reasoning was that you need to be in slight W/D's. his reasoning was "he doesn't know me like that." But proceeded to say if it were lortabs or Heroin I were to be taking every day, that he would write the script because methadone lasts longer. (you have to be in slight to moderate W/D off ANY opiod so either way if opiods consumed that day, you cannot take the suboxone and there would be a wait.) It makes no sense to me that he can give a heroin junkie a script to take the next day, but not some… one with years clean. Some offices don't give prescriptions out the first visit-- which I *fully support, but if you do, do it on the right terms, plus, i got there at 11:40, wasn't seen until almost 3. others were telling me they've been there longer. it was a dingy place and neither receptionist or nurse i dealt with seemed to know the procedures.

I am physically disabled,homeless,with no income or transportation.i have found since I have switched to his practice that I am unable to get the proper paperwork in to help me maintain.example when I was in my recent accident it took 5months to receive my disabilty notes and almost lost my no fault insurance because his staff continued to lie about making the notes to.save face for their incompitence.recently I was told to come in for an appointment however the staff failed to call me ahead of time to tell me he left early and also had me waiting 40minutes before I was told he wasnt there.i was told I could come back next week even though the staff knows I needed the note a wk prior to get cash and food assistance.when confronted I was told sorry and that they were too busy to call me and let me know.when I told them that was unacceptable.the office manger then blamed me for their mistake.when asked what other office he worked at I was told only there on mondays (this happened on a… eednesday).i find the office mangar and receptionist to be very inconsiderate and unprofessional in how they handle the patients.its bad enough that I have a back/neck injury and have to wait 3-5 hours to be seen but to also not get what I need and to be lied to and given bkame where blame is not due is appauling and im reporting his office to the nys board and making a formal complaint.the after my up coming surgery I will have to change my primary dr to somewhere else.

one of they best drs practicing medicine that ive seen un a long time very caring, bedside manner is excellent the best.
