What other people say about this doctor is spot on. Worst experience with the doctor ever. There were clear signs of something wrong going on but because the test that Dr. Ryan did didn’t show anything wrong he was very quick and I mean very quick to dismiss us and discharge us. There was no discussion of what could be going on or alternative test that could be done or even mention of follow up with another doctor. He really just said if you get a fever, come back and prove me wrong. He didn’t stick around to listen to questions. This was in the emergency room.

I had the misfortune of being seen by Dr. Winston Daniel Ryan. To call it a “visit” would be generous—it was more like a mandatory pit stop where the doctor barely slowed down before speeding off again. He didn’t ask meaningful questions, didn’t explain anything, and showed zero curiosity about what was actually going on. I felt less like a patient and more like an inconvenient appointment he had to check off before lunch. A friend of mine recently went through the same conveyor-belt experience: rushed in and out in under five minutes with a vague explanation and a prescription, despite symptoms that clearly suggested something more serious than a sore throat. If you’re hoping for thoroughness, compassion, or even basic human decency, you might want to look elsewhere. This practice seems to prioritize volume over care. Patients deserve more than being treated like a number on a clipboard.

After 3 hours of sitting in room, popped in and mumbled stuff about back pain after I said something about not being taken seriously, he offered to hook me up to iv pain meds and do CT. Didn't come there for drugs, should have done CT 3 hours ago. Had enough asked to be discharged.

He doesn’t have the time to tell you what’s wrong. Just yells it to you as he’s walking out the room.
