Dr. Winthrop Brian Hedrick, DO

I had broken my foot from an epileptic seizure. He barely spent any time with me. I had never been so insulted. My toe redislocated. He says to me “I tried 3 times before I am never trying again. Let the orthopedic surgeon do it. If someone is having a stroke or whatever, does he say the same thing. I know my m.d’s I had to wait 2 hrs when the biggest case was probably an ear infection.

When I saw Doctor Hendrick, he spoke too quickly for me to understand, and then implied that I was stupid when I couldn't tell what he was saying. He then told me I had a cold and was faking my symptoms, and wrote a note saying I should go back to work for my next shift. I went to another clinic two days later, and within ten minutes I was diagnosed with mononucleosis, which Dr. Hendrick might have caught if he wasn't too busy calling me lazy.

Told me he didn't know what I expected him to do? Didn't do a very good assessment either. Ended up admitted to a hospital days later.

I had went to Deaconess Urgent Care to get a second opinion. I had been sick now for two weeks and it didn't seem as if anyone cared. I had been to the Emergency Room and seen my regular doctor. They had ordered test but my regular doctor never got back to me and it was the weekend. I saw Dr. Hedrick. I told him everything that was going on with me and all the test that I had taken. He told me he only had 15 minutes to diagnose me and he didn't have time to look at the test I had already completed or look at my medical records. He diagnosed me incorrectly and I ended up in the Emergency Room after 2 days. My condition had worsened. I could have died.
