Dr. Wisam Nabeel Mnkana

Dr. Wisam Mnkana is very unprofessional. He was the attending physician for my brother at Corewell Trenton Hospital. I, being the sister who lives 12 hrs. away, was doing everything possible to help my brother get the appropriate care he deserved. I spoke with my brother’s nurses, along with having in depth conversations with the case manager and psychiatrist assigned to my brother. Unfortunately, the care we were seeking could not be provided. The disgusting thing, is when Dr. Wisam told my brother I didn’t care about him; otherwise, I would be doing more to help him. Needless to say, my brother gave him a piece of his mind and told him to leave the room. Dr. Mnkana’s words were not only a lie, they were rude, uncaring, inappropriate and extremely unprofessional. There was a witness in the room when this occurred and there is also a complaint being filed with Administration. At a minimum, and this is stating it mildly, my brother deserves and apology and the Dr. needs to be counseled.
