Wobo Bekwelem, MD, MPH, FAHA, FACC, FSCAL, RPVI

Dr. Wobo Bekwelem specializes in cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology, bringing two decades of experience to his practice. He earned his medical degree from the University of Ibadan College of Medicine and completed his residency at the University of Minnesota Medical School. Dr. Bekwelem holds advanced fellowship credentials including FAHA, FACC, FSCAL, and RPVI, along with a Master of Public Health degree. He communicates with patients in English.

Dr. Bekwelem is affiliated with Holy Cross Hospital Jordan Valley and practices at multiple North Memorial Health Heart & Vascular locations throughout Minneapolis, Maple Grove, Monticello, Blaine, and Minnetonka. His expertise includes treating peripheral artery disease and coronary artery disease. He also addresses atherosclerosis in his patients. Dr. Bekwelem performs electrocardiograms and oversees cardiac rehabilitation programs to help patients strengthen their hearts through specialized exercises.
