I'm sure that there are reasons why one might opt for a doctor such as Chun. Perhaps you are in a horrendous life situation and the only way out is for the other person to die. Or perhaps you are in line for an inheritance that is just taking too long. In these circumstances, I urge you to use Dr Dukja Chun. But, if you happen to want your loved one to be well-cared for with the intent of recovery - THEN, RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN AWAY FROM CHUN!!!! This woman is far better suited to treat animals - in fact, my pet name for her is "the veterinarian." My mother and I were on vacation in Santa Fe, NM and my mother, who was 90 years old and very thin, was admitted to St Vincent's Hospital with Pneumonia and A-Fib. Another doctor released her way too early - admittedly before the pneumonia had cleared up - and she ended up back in the emergency room 3 days later, with what appeared to be a stroke that had taken place at the nursing facility where he sent her. A wonderful doctor had… scheduled her for an MRI, but Dr Chun had the audacity to tell me that "an MRI is very expensive and what was the point?" and then cancelled the MRI order. She then sent in a woman from hospice to solicit our hospice business for the hospital - which I have learned since that she was supposed to have asked my consent before simply sending her in. We wasted an entire day trying to find a good doctor to replace the veterinarian & we did - 2 exceptional doctors, but by then it was too late - my mother died the following day. But then again, what should I expect from a woman who shared with me that she brought her own mother from Korea, but after a year sent her back because it was too much for her (Dr Chun). If she can be that cold and callous with her own mother, why would I expect her to do any better for mine? I do, however, feel that Chun would make a very capable veterinarian - as she does not believe in prolonging anything - just put them directly to sleep and move on...
