Dr. Xi Freda Gu, MD

I have been going to this doctor for the last 5+ years. I live in Jersey and work in midtown and still come to her for my annual. She is very thorough in her physicals and does not prescribe any medication unnecessarily. She has great bedside manner and is compassionate. In reference to the reviews above- I don't expect the doctor themselves to understand what's covered, that's what your responsibility is and what the office staff can help you with. I also had to dispute a small charge once and the doctor was able to make adjustments.

Horrible experiamce! This doctor was very judgemental with me. I had problems which I'd felt more comfortable with if she had performed the blood tests I'd asked for but she only did partial blood tests and told me she would write me a referral to get the rest done at a lab. After my blood was drawn I left but after realizing I forgot to take a referral, she refused to write me a one. Not only did I pay out if pocket for the testing and visit, but she refused to speak with me. She had her nurse Speak with me instead and when she came out of one room she walked right past me in such a rude manner as I was completely nonexistent. I feel that this docotr isn't one that men should go to. She is very neglectful and judtemental. How do I know she's judtemental? When I told her about my problems she smirked and laughed to herself. Very unprofessional, horrible service, and extremely inconsiderate. This doctor is one one i would EVER recommmed.

The doc doesn't know what is covered and what is not being covered by your plan. So please be cautious. Otherwise, you will be charged over thousand dollars like I did without being notified. Thanks!

She's a great doctor, she is very thorough and patience.
