Xiao Wei, MD, MAS

Dr. Xiao Wei is a board-certified oncologist who specializes in treating various forms of cancer with particular expertise in prostate cancer care. She earned her medical degree from the University of California San Francisco, where she also completed graduate studies in clinical research and later returned for her fellowship in hematology and oncology in 2017. Dr. Wei completed her internal medicine residency at Mount Sinai Hospital in 2013. With 15 years of clinical experience, she brings extensive knowledge to cancer treatment and patient care. Dr. Wei is fluent in both English and Mandarin, allowing her to serve patients from diverse backgrounds.

Dr. Wei practices at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute locations in both Chestnut Hill and Boston, Massachusetts. She focuses on treating patients with prostate cancer, including those with advanced or metastatic disease and recurrent cases. Her approach includes comprehensive diagnostic testing such as prostate-specific antigen (PSA) tests …and various blood work to monitor patient health and treatment progress. Dr. Wei also utilizes specialized testing like immunoglobulin tests as part of her thorough evaluation process for cancer patients.
