Dr. Xiaoping Ma, MD

Dr Xiaoping Ma has been my neurologist for years now...She is caring, competent and very meticulous in looking for the causes of my pain... I recommend her to friends and family as well... As long as Dr Ma is available, I will not go to any other neurologist or clinic...

I have no problem with Dr ma no problem with waiting no problem with her assistance no problem getting an appointment I find her to be very caring

Its been 7 days since my MRI. I received them the following day. Called dr on Monday, still waiting for response. I am in severe pain . Time for a new doctor

Dr.Ma is always very thorough and on time. I highly recommend!

Too many tests. Too much medication. not necesssary

My mother was diagnosed with MS about 3 years ago. I am so utterly disappointed with Dr Maâ??s customer service, bedside manner, and office operations that I literally have no words to describe how bad it is. Her good reputation is no longer applicable. I am honestly disgusted by the carelessness my mom has encountered. Dr Ma is lucky my mom is her patient, because I don't have nearly as much patience. I hope Dr Ma reads this and takes note. I hope this saves future MS patients from wasting their time. I hope Dr Ma realizes a good reputation only goes so far if you do nothing to uphold it. If you are researching places to seek ongoing care for MS and would like to know specifics about why I would not recommend Dr Ma to anyone, just PM me. I will back up this one star rating and maybe we can even help each other find better care for ourselves and our loved ones. Thanks for nothing

I have been a patient of Dr. Ms's for about 5 years, when I first went to her it was on a referral from my PCP, secondary to Migraines and chronic pain from an MVA, she was amazingly thorough and took the time to explain everything that she was doing, I now have total control of my pain and migraines. Yes there is often a wait, and she runs behind because that is what happens when you are thorough.

I agree with many of the comments written about Dr.Ma. On the first visit, she conducted a basic neurological competence test that was so painful it brought tears to my eyes. No apology -- but I did get the eye roll. She told me, on the second visit, that she didn't know what was wrong with me. She also stated at that time that she didn't know if I would ever walk again. She did no further tests, other than to use a hammer to check for reflexes. Again, extremely painful. This yang lady has neither compassion nor skill. Fortunately, other medical practitioners are more than capable, and I can now walk again -- no thanks to Dr. Ma -- in fact, I would say in spite of her

All about the money. Billed my insurance company incorrectly trying to get $500 out of me for a consultation instead of the $165 she actually got. Too many tests. Too much medication. No bedside manner. Went once. Will never go back.
