Dr. Ximena Isabel Chavez, MD

I'm seeing Dr. Chavez for Rheumatoid Arthritis. She has been excellent. I feel she listens to me very carefully, and she is very good about explaining what she is seeing/doing. She has been very responsive to my questions, including via email. Most importantly, my arthritis is under control.

Dr. Chavez was running late the day of my appointment. However, this did not bother me, as she was not at all rushed when she met with me, and she spent the appointment asking questions, explaining the reasons for the questions, and making sure I understood everything. She also followed up with me personally by phone regarding my test results, even though I had received the results earlier from her staff. This allowed opportunity to ask questions if necessary and be reassured that she had personally seen the results and confirmed her medical opinion about them.
