Dr. Xinqian Chen, MD

Warning: Xinquian Chen, MD and staff lost a Class II pain script which Chen transferred within their Baycare/Aurora partnership network. The treatment by Doctor of patient ensuing this incident was deplorable and strikes below any medical standard of care.

Very pleasant and knowledegable for interpretation of MRI and nerve pain assessment. Would have liked to have seen him for pain medication but he does not order Methadone for chronic pain.

Seems knowledable, but had to wait about an hour in the exam room before the Doctor came in.

In short, this pain management doctor never managed my pain, nor did he relieve it. Just gave me expensive injections, and gave me ineffective pain meds. I think Dr. Was very nice, and like able. His treatment however, was ineffective at best, received many cortisone injections over the course of treatment, and none of them offered relief, the Doctor never told me that high a1c blood glucose levels made these shots ineffective. I learned that from my new pain management Doctor. Doctors nurse was rude and cold and uncaring even after 3 years.

I have seen so many doctors in the past few years and none of them took the amount of time with me that he and his staff took. It makes you really appreciate him and the work that he and his staff do.

I think this was one of the best doctors I have seen. He really took the time to explain my MRI to me and scheduled me for the correct procedures. His MA I can't remember her name was pretty awesome and very helpful. I would recommend this doctor to all my friends and family who have back problems.

VERY GOOD DOCTOR

Dr. Chen is very kind and efficient. Office staff is great. Takes time for you even when he is busy. I was late for my apt. (live hr away) and he came out of surgery to see me anyway. He could not figure out what was wrong with me and sent me to another doctor, which I respect, instead of ordering all kinds of tests that would not make a difference. He did help me with steroid injections and talked to me about what my other doctors said. Like him a lot. :)
