Dr. Xiuli Li, MD

My husband was recently diagnosed with Parkinson's and was sent to Dr. Li for some followup. She was apparently not in the mood to work that day. Her evaluation was poor, sloppy and she said the only way to be absolutely sure he had Parkinson's was to put him on medication, which was against the advice of the other doctors because of my husband's age (he's only 57 and considered too young to be put on medication for this condition, as the patient may develop a tolerance too early. She refused to listen, snapped at my husband when he didn't answer quickly enough (part of his condition: slow verbal response time because of the Parkinson's). She replied, "Why it take you so long?! You need a do better!" in her broken English. The reason I went with my husband to his appointment was because he developed difficulty speaking. She is the worst doctor I've ever dealt with.

Have been a patient of Dr Li’s for a couple of years and she doesn’t take the time to listen and has made a mistake with my medication. Take the opportunity and find a knowledgeable, trustworthy physician.

I like to give people the benefit of the doubt- I read a lot of horrible reviews about Xiuli Li but wanted to decide for myself. Since people tend to leave reviews after bad experiences there is always a possibility someone is better than their online presence suggests. That is NOT the case for her. If anything her negative reviews aren't negative enough. I gave up even trying to talk half way through my appointment (which took all of 5 minutes) and just nodded along because even speaking with her was clearly a monumental waste of time. I immediately cancelled my next appointment. She doesn't listen, puts words in your mouth, dismisses concerns while making assumptions, and literally says, "you're fine" with absolutely zero effort put into actually attempting to understand or try. She scheduled an MRI but honestly after just talking I can't fathom putting my faith in her to read the results. Absolute biggest waste of my time, I wouldn't recommend anyone see this woman. When you care… about what you do it shows and it is abundantly apparent that Xiuli Li does not care even slightly about her work or her patients. Trust her reviews for what they are- Xiuli Li is hands down the single worst doctor I have ever seen.

I am beyond impressed and pleased with Dr. Li! She was kind, personable, compassionate and reassuring and I am grateful for her care!

She misdiagnosed me, wanted me on serious but unwarranted meds, refused to answer polite questions, and hung up on me. If she is good enough for Dent Neurological to employ, then I have no faith in Dent and will NEVER go there again.

have gone three times the first appointment 15min the second 12 min the last 8 min The worst doctor I have ever seen. NO PERSONALITY OR BED SIDE MANNOR. Has no idea what she is treating. I come from a family with three MDS. Will never go there again, hoe its not to late to get treatment.

My concern is that she spends insufficient time with the patient and not accessible in the event of a change of condition. I recently called to report that my condition, diagnosed as lumbar radiculopathy was worsening and that I was experiencing muscle pain and tremors in the upper part of the body, as well as the lower part. In response one of her staff called and advised me to use a heating pad, and to obtain a second opinion (I already had one scheduled-not certain if she was aware of it). She saw no need to change my medication. I feel that given the circumstances, the doctor or her PA, could have seen me in the office within a day.

Dr Xuili Li is the poorest excuse for a physician I have ever seen. My first and only visit there, she spent no more than 2 minutes with me and was the coldest, most heartless individual I have ever encountered. Her office is impossible to reach and it took her THREE weeks to fill out ONE form. For someone who is so money hungry, you'd think she'd at least PRETEND to care about her patients. She's a poor actress and an even worse M.D. Save yourself the trouble and find someone else!

Nursing staff very kind, Dr. Li was very rude. Every time I tried to talk she interrupted me. She did not want to hear anything I had to say, and more or less told me I was fat and lazy. She told me I didn't care about myself and wasn't taking my health seriously. I traveled 2 hours to be insulted and have my concerns thrown back in my face. I will not be following up with her.

For the first visit my father spent only seven minutes with Dr. Lee she wrote that she did a full exam,including a funduscopic exam,I was there she did not. It was a very disappointing visit. She gave us instructions to decrease his dose for his Parkinson's disease which he did. However he developed increased symptoms which were horrific. She said the medicine was innapropriatefor him as it should not be given to anyone over 65 years of age. It was difficult to wean him off his medication and he was becoming very depressed. Once she knew this she's asked us to go back on the medicine. If she only knew how difficult it was to take him off the medicine to begin with. I felt I was going backwards with my father instead of forward. I would not recommend this doctor.I waited an hour and a half to see her and seven minutes for her tap my father's knees for a reflex.
