Dr. Xuan Hong Nguyen

WORST DOCTOR! Unprofessional and rude. Biggest complaint was when she left during the examination with patient completely uncovered and LEFT THE DOOR WIDE OPEN. Her behavior during entire appt was absolutely shocking.

Could not keep her mask from falling off throughout entire visit. Could not be educated on how to keep a mask on. Refused to listen to medical history. Did not ask permission to look at child's genitals and it's important to know that his genitals didn't even pertain to the reason for the visit. Filed a complaint against her license, COVID Compliance and verified her racial bias with a phone call with the Police. Do not bring your children to her.

I have been to Dr. Nguyen twice and am scheduled to see her again soon. I recently moved to the area and needed a dermatologist. It can be difficult to get in to dermatologist I've noticed so it was great that she was able to see me so quickly after making the appointment. I was immediately put at ease b/c she comes across very competent and she knows how to communicate with her patients--in my experience, many doctors are poor communicators. She took stock of the issues I came in to treat and she developed a treatment plan. It was a bit different from my prior dermatologist, but I like the idea of trying something different to the extent the prior treatment isn't working as desired. I consulted a friend of mine who is also a dermatologist and she thought the course of treatment made sense given the symptoms I described. From my understanding, Dr. Nguyen's office in Gilbert is fairly new, so it may be easier to get in to see her now. I think that's why I was able to get in… so quickly. But I have every expectation that as word spreads of her new practice, that she'll have many new patients. The fact that she was able to see me so quickly may have caused me to visit her the first time, but not the repeat visits. I patronized a dermatologist in Scottsdale that was able to see me quickly, but I will not be returning. The facilities were dingy and the dermatologist left a significant divot in my skin from a cortisone injection. I highly recommend Dr. Nguyen.

Dr. Nguyen removed some skin cancer about two years ago. She and her staff were awesome and while I wish I didn't have to return, I do, wouldn't consider anyone else.

At first Dr. Nguyen is very tough, do it her way or take the highway. But after a few visits you realize and see, she is a very caring, funny doctor. She does not know much about nutrition and will try to steer you clear from this. She has your best interest in mind and only wants to see you get better. If you ask her to be gentle she will be. She rarely says no to patients and the best day to see her is on Monday when things are more relaxed in her office. Her PA Brooke is also great along with her staff of all females - Jazmine, Michelle and her floater Irene. She speaks fluent Chinese, Vietnamese, and some Spanish and German. She is not a doctors doctor but rather a patient's doctor which we all want.

I was seen by 4 doctors, 2 being dermatologists, until i had the pleasure of finding dr. Nguyen...She diagnosed me almost immediately whereas the other Dr.s had no idea what was going on with the debilitating skin condition i had...she is a literal genius, compassionate, very competent...If you want to be treated, diagnosed and cared for by someone of this caliber, please choose Dr. Xuan Nguyen..i look forward to my visits and she has cured my skin condition that was plaging me for along time
