Dr. Yacasta C Pastora

D r. Yocasta Pastora was born and raised in El Sauce,
Nicaragua. She attended National University of Nicaragua in
Leon, from where she received her doctoral degree in 1985.
Right after graduation she volunteered for a one-year period
in Junotega, rural part of Nicaragua, providing oral health
education as well as exams and treatment to undeserved
community.
S he decided to move to the United States in 1987, where at
first she volunteered for three months in Westchester Dental
Office in South Miami, then worked as a dental assistant in
the prison system in Lake Butler, FL for five years. During this
time Dr. focused on improving her English and working
toward her license to receive her credentials in the US.
In 1995 Dr. Pastora moved to Gainesville where she worked
as an associate for a year. Then, she bought the practice and
named it Archer Dental, which she has owned since 1996.
D r. Yocasta Pastora has practiced dentistry for fifteen
years now, here in the United States and she is very
…passionate about it.  She excels at General Dentistry, works
great with children, and especially enjoys Cosmetic Dentistry.
She is a member of the Alachua County Dental Association
and the Florida Dental Association.
D r. Pastora loves changing people’s lives through
restoring their smiles. She has great satisfaction knowing
she has the ability to help others.
W hen she is away from the office, she enjoys her family,
her friends, church, and travelling. She is a great asset to the
community.
Dr. Pastora continues to update her dental education each
year with the latest technologies available.
