Dr. Yacov Kogan, MD

This doctor is a COMPLETE FRAUD. I was sent to him for a consultative examination by SSA. This man took me into an office devoid of anything other than a desk, 2-3 chairs and a laptop. He had no medical instruments or equipment whatsoever. He spent 10-12 minutes asking me a few questions and then said we were done. When I saw the report he provided to SSA, I was so shocked. It indicated the results of an extremely detailed physical examination even though one was never conducted. It gave a blood pressure that far lower than the hypertensive numbers in every record from visits with my own doctors. It even had specific joint ranges of motion for every joint in my body that make me look like a pilates instructor - what a joke! He said I denied symptoms that I have been complaining about consistently since my diagnosis. His fake report formed the basis of SSA issuing a cessation of benefits that I now have to appeal. My doctor and my friends and family are also in disbelief about… this. If you have to see this man, have someone drive you there and be in the visit with you as a witness to what is happening. This man needs to be stopped from issuing fake medical reports.
