Yahaya Akolade Animashaun

With over 25 years of experience as a psychiatric nurse, and over 2 years’ experience as an Advanced Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, my goal is to be accessible to the community in providing evidence-based mental health treatment for all ages across the lifespan (Child/Adolescent, and Adult). Services are available via telehealth services, and an easy-to-make in-office appointment, to provide a comprehensive psychiatric assessment in diagnosing and treating with and effective, evidence-based approaches using psychotherapy and psychopharmacology that are aimed towards recovery, and maintaining optimal functioning. Our mission is to make a difference in the community, starting with optimizing an individual’s mental health to promote self-empowerment. We specialize in caring for the most common psychiatric conditions including Depression, Insomnia, Anxiety, Panic disorder, Bipolar Disorder, PTSD, OCD, ADD/ADHD, Trauma-focused treatment, Substance Abuse, & Dual Diagnosis.
