Dr. Yahya Jawaid Hashmi, MD

Dr. Hashmi is lovely- I was a patient with him for 15 years. His office staff should be replaced. They repeatedly called me in for appointments that weren't necessary and were meant as state wellness appointments for the elderly. I had to take time off of work and pay for these appointments in my late 20s and early 30s where they asked me about my glaucoma and if I could remember the "apple, wallet and watch" in the images 30 seconds after showing them to me (which I still do...). These appointments that they admitted weren't necessary led to changes in my medications due to the rules set by these appointments. Then I got switched to medicaid, which this office doesn't take. They wouldn't waive my missed appointment fee, even though had I been there, they wouldn't have seen me anyway. They also dismissed me from the practice for it, even though, again, THEY wouldn't take my insurance. The office staff hung up on me when I asked to have fee waived. They don't care about their patients.

I right there with the last review written. Dr Hashmi is a good Dr. But the staff is rude. It is really hard to make an appointment. No one calls or emails back.

My entire family were clients until I missed one appointment which caused this doctor to promptly drop my whole family from his patient list. Staff was not willing to help resolve my issue. We were subsequently treated with disrespect, and we will not recommend this doctor

Very poor patient relations. Very unprofessional staff. Very rude,insulting and disrespectful staff... Unable or unwilling to admit thier mistakes unwilling to resolve in a professional manner.....

Dr. Hashmi is extremely knowledgeable with a "bedside manne" which makes him the perfect fit for several members of our family including me. He is attentive, listens, offers sound direction and experience based upon science and takes a sufficient amount of time to make sure all questions are answered and all issues addressed. Feel blessed to have Dr. Hashmi taking care of my medical needs.
