Dr. Yakov Joshua Gizersky, DO

He was rude and condescending. He completely dismissed all of my concerns, and made inappropriate comments that I can't include or my post will get flagged. He came off like he thought he didn't need to listen to me. Seemed like me being a woman had something to do with how he was treating me. Don't not recommend! He will take your money, but not do anything to help you.

I used MDLive for the first time and had a very pleasant experience with Dr. Gizersky. He listened to me, and responded with care. He helped me right away and gave me good advice about caring for my asthma.

Used his service via MDLive. He wasted his time and mine and was extremely rude. I had a toenail infection that a simple prescription would remedy. He informed me that blood work was needed prior to the prescription. Ok, sounds reasonable. Then why would you charge me a consultation fee and waste my time with the call. Just send message stating that I needed to go to regular Dr visit due to blood work. Nope, not this jerk. Calls me up, charged me fee tells me I need blood work that he is unable to order and HUNG UP ON ME when I asked him why he called me if he was unable to help me.

Worst experience and worst doctor I’ve ever spoken to. Forget bedside manners, this guy has no matters at all. From the moment the appointment started he offered no consultation, treatment or help. Told me to go to ER. This was not a real ER problem. I was refunded my $40 fee as I’m sure MDlive knows how terrible this guy is.

I paid $40 for nothing. I had an extremely rude doctor by the name of Dr. Yakov Gizersky. She could care less if I lived or died. She had a snotty tone to her voice and quickly wanted to get me off the phone after two minutes. I'm simply trying to find out if I have cancer and wanted to get some advice on the steps to take. Before the phone appointment I did explain what I'm going through in the mdlive online form. She said she couldn't help me because she doesn't specialize in oncology. I thought, "well then why did you take me as your phone patient. You should have left me for someone in that field/oncology who could assist me." I'm going to look this doctor up and leave a bad review on every site I can find. I waisted time, money and took time from work for the call.

No empathy, condescending, total disregard for my symptoms. Recommended more expensive options after only 60 seconds of consultation. DO NOT recommend this doctor.

I met, Dr. Gizersky in 2008. At that time, my belief in doctors were not there. But he turned that around, he was real, honest, caring and passionate about finding answer for my problems. He wasn't just, a doctor he became a friend and stood by me still this day. I would recommend him, to everybody. There are not, alot of doctors like him today.
