Yamin Sun, MD

Dr. Yamin Sun is a hematology and oncology specialist who provides comprehensive cancer care throughout northeast Georgia. She earned her medical degree from The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston and completed her residency at Baylor College of Medicine. Dr. Sun further specialized through a fellowship at University of Maryland Medical Center, giving her advanced training in treating blood disorders and various types of cancer. She is fluent in both Chinese and English.

Dr. Sun practices at Northeast Georgia Medical Center locations in Gainesville and Braselton, with additional services at Longstreet Clinic Cancer Centers in Gainesville, Braselton, and Toccoa, Georgia. She focuses on treating lung cancer, including both non-small cell and small cell lung cancer. Her expertise includes performing CT scans of the chest and abdomen to help diagnose and monitor cancer progression.
