Meet Dr. Yara Catoira-Boyle, MD
Dr. Yara Catoira-Boyle is a board-certified ophthalmologist with advanced fellowship training in glaucoma. She completed her ophthalmology residency at Indiana University School of Medicine at the top of her class, followed by a glaucoma fellowship at Mount Sinai in New York City. Dr. Catoira-Boyle served on the IU Ophthalmology faculty, was the only glaucoma specialist at the Roudebush VA Eye Section, and later became Chief of Ophthalmology at the VA Medical Center from 2016 to 2019. An adjunct …Associate Professor at IU, she has taught cataract and glaucoma surgery since 2003 and is a past two-term president of the Indiana Academy of Ophthalmology. Recognized for her surgical skill and personable care, she is committed to helping patients protect and improve their vision.
