I brought my mum to see Dr. Modi at the E.41st location in Manhattan. He was thorough in his examination, addressed her fears regarding the necessary procedure and did so with kindness and compassion. Although the wait time didn’t bother us, Dr. Modi was also apologetic about it. I understand medical appointments may take longer than we would like. Please keep in mind that everyone’s needs are unique and that some patients may need more time than others. I appreciated that the doctor and his staff are concerned about the quality of care and not just pushing us out the door.

Extremely wonderful DR, efficient, on time and caring. Would only see him about eyes.

Dr Modi is one of the best Physicians I have ever seen. Extremely caring and very knowledgeable.

This doctor is in a hurry, comes late to the office, gave me wrong diagnosis and wrong treatment

I’ve been waiting two hours and counting to see the doctor. In fact I’m still waiting to see him as I write this review. Not a word from staff on what’s going, why the wait, or when I can expect to see the doctor. Hopefully I won’t be fully blind by then.

Dr. Modi saved me from going blind. You could not ask for a better doctor. He is knowledgeable, patient, did not push me into surgery but tried for two years to treat me by conventional means like laser and injections Before finally taking me to the operating room for surgery. He has a wonderful bedside manner and I completely trust Dr. Modi. Other Ophthalmologists I have spoken with have nothing but the highest praise for Dr. Modi, and that says a lot.
