Dr. Yasmin Hussain, MD

Dr. Husain is a wonderful physician.

The few times I have seen Dr. Hussain in the past have been for colonoscopies. So this was the first time I actually had an appointment about a problem with her. She is a fantastic physician. She is personable, a fantastic listener, asks important questions, and gives clear explanations. When I mentioned some major stressors in my life, she showed great compassion.

My son was taken care of at the hospital by Doctor and we thought she was wonderful, very caring, got right to the problems and took well care if my son! Very pleased.

By far the worst doctor I have ever been to. She did a procedure on me and I got so sick the following day and she refused to talk to me. When I was finally able to get back in a see her (2 weeks later) she was rude and inconsiderate. I would not recommend anyone see this doctor. Also she uses medications to sedate you that are not longer used because of the side effects. She cost me so much pain and suffering and showed no concern for my well being.

I was referred to Dr. Hussain for colonoscopy. I had never met her before the procedure. She left me in the operating room for an hour while she went to visit patients. My next visit concerned acid reflux and I was having a gallbladder attack at the same time. She DOES NOT HANDLE the gallbladder I was told promptly. I had three visits with her within a month concerning the acid reflux. I found that communication with me concerning my condition was poor and consisted of handing me a brochure. She did not make me feel comfortable nor did she alleviate my fears. Dr. Hussain ran an hour late again for my last appointment.

Was sent to this doctor because my gynecologist suspected gallbladder disease. When she discovered a bunch of other GI issues, she refused to test my gallbladder saying I had too many other issues that I couldn't possibly have that. Several months later, my primary doctor ordered the ultrasound and discovered multiple gallstones for which I needed immediate surgery. When I had issues about a year after my gallbladder surgery, she didn't seem to know what to do about it and kept running out of the room to ask another doctor. Then came back telling me what he said. I finally decided to just change doctors to the person she kept running to with her questions.

My primary Dr. diagnosed me with crohn's disease and sent me to see this Dr. who miss diagnosed me with ulcerative colitis. This miss diagnoses put me in the emergency room where i was diagnosed to need an emergency surgery or i could die. im seeking another Dr. to start seeing.
