Dr. Yasmin Khan, MD

Dr. Khan is extremely professional, knowledgeable, and has a wonderful bedside manner. She always spends enough time with me to make me feel comfortable and make sure I understand everything. She has gotten my diabetes under control. I would not see any other endocrinologist except her. Fantastic doctor

I am glad that I made the switch to Dr. Khan. While I have nothing disparaging to say about my former PCP, I feel that Dr. Khan is a better match for me. The support staff is really great! :)

I've been seeing Dr. Khan for several years and find her to be very personable, highly approachable and knowledgeable and always supportive and encouraging. I have only praise for her professionalism and her friendly and gentle manner.

It's been 6 months and she has not been able to control my Hypothyroid. Before her I was on a stable thyroid medicine dosage for years. She is not concerned about the overall problem you have as a patient, just concerned about what she has diagnosed. I should have realized it earlier and moved to a better doctor. She obviously is not experienced enough. I should have read reviews before going to her. I agree with the one of the comments above that state that she goes by the textbook. I would not recommed her to anyone.

Dr. Kahn is what I would classify as an average doctor. She knows and goes by her textbook methods of dealing with problems. What keeps her from being an exceptional doctor is her inability (or unwillingness) to listen to the patient and provide care which pushes the boundaries of what the 'textbook' says is adequate. Not everyone's body fits the textbook definition of hormone levels, reaction to medication, tolerance of a treatment, etc. She needs to learn to be open-minded to expanding her listening skills and going outside the narrow classroom-taught treatments.The more Dr. Kahn gets to know you the more she is at ease with a patient and 'softens' up a bit to where her bedside manner is agreeable.

I will never use this doctor again. I was prescribed medication by this doctor. Though I thought I hadn't told their office I was allergic to this medication I accepted the responsibility, and I just wanted to have my medication changed. However, when I went to her office and the first thing I was given was a list of my medication and saw that not only was the medication I was allergic to, but it was the fist medicine on my list, I was shocked. I brought this to Dr. Khan's attention and rather than Dr. Khan's graciously accepting responsibility for the error, she was rude and very insulting to the point that I left in tears. To me this was a huge mistake that I was willing to work with her on. Yet she was arrogant and nasty, and I think a patient should be treated with a bit of dignity.

Dr. Khan's recommendations for me to have surgery, and the surgeon to perform it, were both excellent calls. Couldn't be more pleased. Wouldn't hesitate to refer her to anyone.
