Dr. Yasser El Said Elhammamy, MD

I don't even know where to start. My family member was transfered into his "care" from another hospital. He immediately petitioned for civil commitment and forced medicating even though he was told time and time again that he had poor information. He doesn't like women, he has terrible listening skills, and I seriously question his ethics. Avoid this guy at all costs. Your well being and freedom depend on it. This guy has way too much power and is careless with it. Also, he has been sued for malpractice. Search google for his alternate spelling of his last name, yasser el-mammamy.

The doctor demonstrates poor listening skills and as well as a limited ability to focus his attention on his patient. The doctor was repeatedly distracted by his pager and failed to accurately repeat the statements I had made during his distraction. Those inaccurate statements are now recorded in my permanent medical record, and will no doubt impact the manner in which I will be treated in the future. In addition to including falsehoods in his medical report, he also grossly exaggerated the amount of time he was willing to spend with me by several fold. Furthermore, the doctor not only made me uncomfortable by discussing matters of religious faith with me during the exam, but in addition, he has included that unnecessary information in my medical record for any number of medical professionals to peruse. My fear is that this disclosure will expose me to religious bigotry in the future, and will impact my ability to receive quality health care. I have every reason to question this… man’s honesty, integrity, and perhaps most importantly, his commitment to medical science itself.
