Dr. Yawer Mohammed Nensey, MD

I have been going to Dr Nensey for 27 years I had seen several doctors before him and they couldn’t find out what was wrong with me I was in pain and so sick. I went to Dr Nensey and within 2 weeks after testing and his gentle care he diagnosed me and he is the only doctor I totally trust unconditionally.

Dr. Nensey really knows Gastroenterology, does a very meticulous colonoscopy, compassionate and caring, A number one great Doctor.

HE HAS A WONDERFUL MANNER WITH HIS PATIENTS . HIS OFFIS STAFF .ON THE OTHER HAND, ARE LACKING IN HIS GOOD NATURE. HIS PA, DONNA, IS AWESOME AS WELL.

Called this doctor because my son is so very sick and no one in my area will take his insurance. The office manager, who refused to give her name , flat refused to see him because he doesn't live in Plant City. What ever happen to helping people who are sick? I pleaded with her and was still refused. Obviously this doctor and his office manager don't feel that all people are worth tending to. So, my son can just suffer and these people don't care, hope that tells you something. I would stay away from this one.

I have seen Dr. Nensey in the past. Overall, I never had an issue until this morning. I have an appointment this coming Monday and have to see a number of specialist. A 25 dollar copay times at least 5 different specialist adds up and are unwilling to work with me. I guess the money comes before the patient. I am really disappointed.

Tried to bill me $6000 for preventive procedure because of "coding error." Office apologized and said they resubmitted under correct code, only to have it hospital tell me otherwise. Had to cancel again the morning the procedure was scheduled. No explanation, no call back. Very unprofessional and greedy.

We couldn't be more Blessed while treating my my son. He and office staff, specially Susan, were amazing!!! So kind, so caring. God Bless them!!!!! My son is cured and we are grateful!!!!!

I went to see Dr. Nensey for a routine colonoscopy and to follow up on some GI issues. He was wonderful with his manner and addressing all of my issues. He actually seemed to care and spend time with me. For one of my visits I had to bring my young child with me. I was worried but this was not a problem for the office at all. I highly recommend.

There is not a better gastro doctor in the bay area. i have been to the mayo clinic, tampa general, university, the new wesley chapel... no one compares to Dr. Nensey... he is the BEST. Don't waste your time or your hard earned dollars anywhere else.... honestly. The man is awesome!!!!

Dr. Nensey could not make my initial appointment, so I met with the nurse practitioner who was fine. When I went to have my colonoscopy, I waited 45 minutes past my appointment time before asking how much longer it might be. I was summarily dismissed with, "They must be running behind." When I pressed the issue, I was quickly taken back and prepped.When I was wheeled into the operating room, Dr. Nensey never introduced himself or said a single word to me. When I asked the nurse if he was going to say hello to my front side before he said hello to my backside, I was told he was dictating. He was sitting right in the corner and never said one word to me despite my asking.I have NEVER had an invasive procedure done without so much as an introduction from the attending physician. Doctors like this are the reason I so rarely seek medical treatment.To add insult to injury, Kevin the nurse anesthetist at New Tampa Surgery Center (which Dr. Nensey owns), was just as bad. Without a single word,… he administered the anesthesia. When I said, "That really burns!" he said, "Uh-huh." Next thing I knew I was in recovery.Unless something catastrophic happens, I will not seek medical treatment again for a VERY long time because of this experience.
