If you are looking for a high energy, talkative physician, this may not be the doctor for you. But if you appreciate experience mixed with up-to-date knowledge in a doctor who is more of a listener than a quick diagnosis, then is is an amazing doctor. We did not see him in this office as he was seeing patents for our doctor who was out on maternity leave. He asked questions, looked at my child's extensive history, listened as I explained everything, then made a decision for just the right medication based on all of the factors. He really got the big picture. He's not big on small talk, but his calm demeanor was comforting to my child, who does not generally respond well to doctors. He was definitely up on the latest research, but showed that he was conservative and not willing to take everything at face-value. When dealing with a child with complicated issues, this is especially valued and appreciated. I feel fortunate to have seen this doctor today.
