Dr. Yelena Aleksandrovna Trakhtenberg, MD

A medical assistance there, Svytlana, has taken it upon herself to decide if you can or can't see the doctor, and if the doctor will give them medications, or even speak to them. I would like to know in what office, in the world, does an assistant have the authority to decide whether or not one can speak to the doctor? This place is extremely unprofessional, they are careless with overbooking appointments, and worst of all, they believe they have the right to tell you what you should do with your body. On numerous occasions I was told I HAD to do something or I could not see the doctor, when I do NOT have to do anything I do not want to. Other than the last time I was there when I decided I had enough of their abuse and decided to leave, over the years of me being a patient, I have never spent less than 2-3 hours per visit. I once refused a certain test (which one is not obligated to have), so they made me wait another hour and a half to have a "private meeting" with the doctor in… which she spent no more than 2 minutes with me. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Very unprofessional staff and doctor. They will always keep you in dark about the procedures they are conducting and you will only know of them once your bill comes in. I went for a normal annual obgyn check up and they conducted a whole bunch of tests without informing me and later told me they had concerns. Well if you had concerns you should have told me at the table. To me all she said was that everything is normal. No staff can explain why the tests were done or why they were needed cause obviously they don't know. Please don't come here am saving you the time effort and money.

She is an extremely unprofessional doctor. My mom went to her at 14 weeks for a check up and she made her cry!!!! My mom is 45 and this would be her fourth child. The doctor told her that she will not take her and she should not be having children. I am not exaggerating one bit guys. I promise you guys that with this kind of attitude, you will have a good experience until you reach a point where your visits are more than check ups. I was pressured to get an IUD here. The cost is 800 and I couldn't afford it. The doctor tried to sell it to me by discounting the price and when I still said I can't afford it, they asked me what my boyfriend does for a living and why I wouldn't ask him. PLEASE guys. Beware.
