Hello! I’m Yen, a caring psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner committed to improving the mental health and well-being of my clients. I’m board-certified and here to support clients on their unique journeys. With over seven years of experience as a registered nurse in both inpatient and outpatient settings, I have had the privilege of working with diverse populations and addressing a wide range of mental health concerns. I have always been fascinated by the intricate connections between the brain and the mind, which has fueled my passion for mental health. My journey began with undergraduate studies in Biology and Psychology that provided me with a rich blend of insights. I earned my BSN from CSU Fullerton and MSN at Azusa Pacific University. I have worked in psychiatric hospitals, correctional facilities, outpatient mental health clinics, and Telepsychiatry. I specialize in treating mood disorders such as anxiety, depression, and bipolar disorder, and I also support …individuals with ADHD and PTSD. Through supportive and cognitive behavioral therapy, I help clients develop coping skills to more effectively manage chronic stress and trauma. My client-centered approach ensures everyone feels heard and supported every step of the way.
