Yesim Y. Demirdag

Dr. Yesim Demirdag is an assistant professor of pediatrics in the Division of Pediatric Allergy and Immunology, College of Physicians and Surgeons of Columbia University. Dr. Demirdag was born and educated in Turkey. She graduated with honors from the Akdeniz University School of Medicine in Antalya, Turkey, and completed her training in allergy and immunology at Louisiana State University. Dr. Demirdag's clinical research focuses on primary immunodeficiencies in children and adults with recurrent ear and sinus infections, growth factors in patients with primary and secondary immunodeficiencies, and genetics of allergic disorders. Her clinical practice focuses on immunodeficiencies in children and adults, as well as food allergies, eczema, drug allergies, allergic rhinitis, and asthma.
